We are currently seeking: 

Fleet Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the yearly cycle and follow up action plans for the department.
  • Assist in preparing various monthly reports, presentations and other documents as needed.
  • Arrange travels and visa applications.
  • Arrange social events and workshops.
  • Support to superintendents and fleet management in their regular deliverables and e.g. claims follow up.
  • Supplier registration, purchase order and invoice handling. 
  • Department superuser for various software applications.
  • Follow up information to the fleet.
  • Keep ship visit list and ship distribution list updated. 
  • Arrange induction meetings for new hired ship senior officers.
  • Ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
  • At least three years of relevant work experience. 
  • Previous experience from shipping industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • User knowledge of Oracle Cloud and Power BI is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Applicants must qualify for permanent residence permit for work purposes in Norway.
