We are currently seeking:

HSEQ Controller (Temporary position)

BW LNG is currently seeking a structured and organized HSEQ Controller to join our team in Oslo for maternity cover.

The main responsibilities for the HSEQ department are maintaining the Company’s Safety Management System covering Health, Safety, Environment and Quality in accordance with industry requirements, ISO9001 and ISO14001. Ensure positive development of the Company safety culture and drive improvement initiatives within Health, Safety, Environment and Quality. Our top priority is zero harm to people and the environment, while we deliver quality service to our customers. 

The selected candidate will be given responsibilities based on skills and experience which may include the following:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop the company’s management system by:
  • Document Revision
  • Quality control of documents
  • Distribution of documents
• Support continuous improvement of the management system
• Developing documents (policies, processes, and procedures) as per industry requirements
• Follow up and monitor compliance with the Management of Change process
• Responsible for follow up the Shipboard Management Review for the fleet
• Support and follow up inquiries regarding company’s HSEQ system
• Alert team administrator and log keeper
• Other tasks can be given based on qualifications

 Qualifications:

• Relevant experience from similar position, preferably from maritime or offshore Industry
• Experience as superuser with management system would be an advantage
• Strong command in English, both verbal and written
• Good IT skill, especially Microsoft office applications and ability to understand new systems
• Need to have residential close to Oslo due to role as log keeper

 Personal qualities:

• Good communication skills
• Working independently and solution oriented
• Analytical, uses a systematic approach to solve tasks
