We are currently seeking:

Fleet Performance Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Performance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the performance of our LNG and FSRU fleet, with a particular focus on technical and maintenance performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of LNG operations, and the ability to generate actionable insights to enhance fleet efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Performance analysis: Monitor and analyze the operational and maintenance performance of LNG and FSRU vessels, including fuel consumption, voyage efficiency, equipment reliability, and maintenance activities.
  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets related to vessel performance, maintenance activities, and other relevant metrics.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular performance reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintenance Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance practices, improve equipment reliability, and reduce downtime while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate maintenance-related issues and equipment failures, conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and recommend corrective actions, in close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fleets, operations, and maintenance, to implement maintenance improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize relevant analytical tools and software to model maintenance scenarios, predict outcomes, and optimize maintenance scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments related to operational performance of LNG and FSRU vessels to continuously improve fleet performance and operational efficiency.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Transportation, or a related field. A relevant work experience could compensate for lack of formal education. A good knowledge of internal combustion engines will be beneficial.
  • Good understanding of LNG/Gas shipping operations, with a focus on performance analysis or optimization.
  • Familiarity with gas tanker/LNG vessel systems, propulsion technologies, and maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Gas/LNG shipping operations and maintenance.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Good command of English.
  • Applicants must qualify for permanent residence permit for work purposes in Norway.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving.

Location:

  • The position will be based in our office in Oslo, Norway. Some traveling should be expected for this position.
