We are currently seeking:

Manager Business Control

Responsibilities:

• In charge of planning, coordination, and monitoring the budgeting process for the BW LPG fleet, including both in-house and third-party managed vessels.
• Coordinate reporting activities, including assisting in the compilation of a monthly report for the Chief Technical Officer.
• Work with internal systems and manage the Technical Chart of Accounts and SFI codes to ensure consistent and correct usage across the fleet.
• Participate in dry docking projects, supporting budgeting and cost follow-up activities.
• Act as a key business coordinator for Oracle BI at BW LPG.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of common ERP systems within the company, such as the vessel BI reporting portal and Hyperion Planning.
• Provide consistent day-to-day support to the fleet.
• Contribute to BW LPG’s performance targets and KPIs.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance team in Singapore to harmonize routines, support the development of common systems, and in charge of providing relevant input from the fleet.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Economics/ Finance or related subject.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in controlling and financial reporting, with knowledge of ship management in the maritime industry.
• Experience in monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Knowledge/ experience of Oracle BI, experience of Hyperion would be an advantage.
• Fluency in English.
• Applicants must qualify for permanent residence permit for work purposes in Norway.

• Deliver results in a timely manner with high quality.
• Ability to view the overall picture as well as understanding the detail.
• Good communications skills both written and oral.
• Good interpersonal skills with good cultural awareness.
• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.

 Location:

• The position will be based in our office in Oslo, Norway. Some traveling will be required for this position.
