We are currently seeking:

HSEQ Controller

BW LNG is looking for a structured and organized HSEQ Controller. Our top priority is zero harm to people and the environment, while we deliver quality service to our customers.

The main responsibilities for the HSEQ department are maintaining the Company's Safety Management System covering Health, Safety, Environment and Quality in accordance with industry requirements, ISO9001 and ISO14001. Ensure positive development of the Company safety culture and drive improvement initiatives within Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

The perfect candidate has a strong quality mind-set and can prioritize and structure the work in a good way.

The selected candidate will be given responsibilities based on skills and experience which may include the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop the company's management system by:
  • Developing documents (policies, processes, and procedures) as per industry requirements
  • Document Revision
  • Quality control of documents
  • Distribution of documents
  • Superuser of the management system
  • Follow up and monitor compliance with the Management of Change process
  • Manage HSEQ performance indicators and provide trend analysis
  • Responsible for following up the Shipboard Management Review for the fleet
  • Plan and conduct internal ISM and ISO 9001/14001 audits ashore
  • Provide HSEQ training for employees:
  • Develop and maintain training materials
  • Induction to the company's management and improvement system
  • In-depth training for super users
  • Other tasks can be given as per qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education within quality
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience from similar position, preferably from maritime or offshore industry
  • ISO 9001 knowledge and experience
  • Experience as a superuser with management system would be an advantage
  • Strong command in English, both verbal and written
  • Qualify for work and residence permit for Norway
